Handmade 60s crochet lilac bed or dressing jacket

A whimsical lilac crochet late 50s or 60s dressing jacket. Fully handmade from lambs wool. Dramatic poet sleeves and ruffled neckline and cuffs. Closes with buttons at the top and has a matching lilac rayon velvet ribbon at the neckline. Beautiful artisan handwork.

This type of garment was popular from the 1920s to the 1960s and used as a dressing (boudoir) or bed jacket (quite similar to the modern bathrobe).
